Too Darn Hot

Even with the roof and all the windows down, the car was just too hot today. Especially when I was stuck in slow moving/stationary traffic due to overrunning roadworks on the A590. I took to the back roads to try and detour around the problem but I’m not sure it was any quicker than sitting in the queue - still took an hour and a half to do a forty minute journey. But at least I was moving, albeit slowly.
And when it came time for a picture today, it was too hot to think about anything creative. It was as much as I could do to open the front door, step outside and take a photo of the car on the drive.
The only small consolation is that the 29 degrees we were suffering was cool in comparison to what I believe they were getting down south!
