Miss Kim Corner

Miss Kim, the Korean Lilac, is fading but still beautiful and still attracting Swallowtail butterflies. The white Siberian Iris are fast dwindling in number but still lovely and the "dear" deer have not munched the Hosta, so all is well in this little corner of the garden where I sit. The severe thunderstorms missed us last night, but the temperatures will be rising to rather uncomfortable levels beginning today.  A perfect day for a trip to the seaside to see a lovely garden and the annual "Art in Bloom" at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art.
