A BIG Day
No mucking around here this morning….early breakfast and down to the sheds to sort out the rubbish, the scrap metals, woods etc etc. That done then up to the garage to sort “stuff” ; next Harry and I went up into the loft and biffed lots of old and empty cartons, boxes of coloured wool, some games, old papers, cloths etc.
This took us up to mid day-ish where Robert and I went off to hire the trailer. Home for a lunch on the run as we filled the trailer with rubbish and off to the dump landfill station. It’s not cheap to get rid of rubbish these days, goes by weight!! The next load was scrap metals, very heavy load but fortunately this part was free where they had big containers to put said stuff into….bonus.
I am so so grateful to our family for all their hard work…..many happy hands make light heavy work. A huge load off my mind.
Of course there are other more useful/good stuff which I will make enquires about, for instance a piano, desk, other furniture and bits and bobs.
Fun extras more for my memories.
We had pizza takeaways for dins. No one felt remotely like cooking.
A wee overnight adventure awaits us all tomorrow.
