Written on the subway wall

OK, not a subway but a bridge over the Hog's Back road running from the Guildford bypass to Farnham. But I can't argue with the sentiment.

I was stuck in traffic due to roadworks which made me late for the meeting I was having with an artist at Farnham Maltings to discuss a maritime themed project he's working on for the Rolls Building. I got there in the end and it was a productive meeting. 

I then had a dental check-up where it became clear that the emergency repair that was carried out a year ago has run its course and the tooth will have to come out.  Appointment booked for early August. 

In the evening I picked up daughter, Jen, from a paddleboarding class at Godalming  where I took the idyllic scene that is today's extra.
