The accidental finding

Colourful and commercial.

It was very hot today. Thr office was a bit like a sauna unless I had two fans running at once. I attended an excellent wellbeing webinar, using one of our old rooms, which are hardly ever used. Such a shame!

Left work on time (thanks to wellbeing webinar). My line manager was leaving at the same time, so she gave me a lift home in her van. I was so grateful not to have lug my laptop wheelie case home up the hill in the heat ! Sat outside with an ice cream, but the sun was too hot, even though it was 5.30 pm! Went inside and started tackling one bookcase in my study. That progressed to sorting out three drawers, which led to my sorting out all my collage paper stashes. I’m talking about eighteen years’ worth of crafting and collecting stuff. The paper recycling is outside. There are three paper sacks, a smaller bag, and a large tub full of paper and card. And that is just the paper….

By now it was quite late and I hadn’t eaten. I looked at a Chinese meal that Steve had bought me from the Chinese wholesaler. I couldn’t work out whether it took six minutes to cook, or served six people, so I opened it. Inside there were eight different plastic packets, one of which was labelled Duck Offal, and another Duck Blood. My, how we laughed ! I had tomato soup annd cheese instead.

Collaging went slowly because I needed a tool for cutting perfect circles and I don’t appear to have one. I do, however, have a few tools that I have forgotten how to use. So some YouTubing may be in order.

It’s almost midnight and I’m sitting in my study/sanctuary wearing an African robe, with the fan still running. It’s going to be sticky tonight, and thirty degrees tomorrow daytime .
