Fridge magnets re-covered

I didn’t have time to embark on a collage tonight, because the poetry class finished at 9.30 and then we talk in the road afterwards. I found some fridge magnets that had lost their Greek tile patterns or whatever their original covering was, and decorated them with embellishments from my recently rediscovered chest of oddities. Of course, the stamps and the star are only card or paper, so won’t last seconds, but I could always laminate a second lot. Sticking is fun, that’s the thing.

Work was long. I had lunch outside with the nurses and the sun beat down on us. Walked home. Had sardines on Finn Crisp for supper, and typed up my poem because K is partially deaf, and can’t hear when we read aloud, and went to the class. Soon I will go to bed, because I had a very poor night’s sleep last night. Tomorrow I will at least have a colleague in with me, and a meeting, and a webinar, so the working hours won’t pass so slowly.
