Johnny Fluffypunk’s Penny Gaff
This is Johnny Fluffypunk himself, in the Goods Shed (designed by Brunel, now an arts venue with added train sounds, next to the railway line). I’d gone with K. because I liked the poster and I want to Get Out More.
The star attraction was Rob Auton, in the second half. Is he a poet? A comedian? Both? He was perfecting his set for Edinburgh tonight, in the provinces. The shutters were open: even so, it was still hot inside. We walked out at 10.30 to a balmy evening. I’d definitely go and see Rob Auton again. I believe it’s his eleventh time in Stroud!
The rest of the day was cool, because I was working from home in a North- facing room; and hot because I had lunch outside and melted butter ran down my elbow. I also sorted out some vintage sewing items that I inherited, to give to the vintage market. And some papers from webinars. I went to a webinar and learned that 8.5 million people in the UK are in debt. That National Debtline can offer free and non-judgemental advice. Later in the afternoon, I spoke to a person who has significant debt. No training’s ever wasted
When I got home from the gif I played with re-covering two more fridge magnets . I seem to have never ending supply of them, yet I’m already wondering what five-minute hands-on activity I can do, when they run out! I mean playing, not sorting things out!
