Dolly's Day

RED RACER

The Tiny Tuesday theme is " CARS ".  I decided to blip one of the many cars which my late husband had collected.  This one is a Matchbox car - one of The Models of Yesteryear range.  Produced in 1966-1967. Its a 1926 Type 35 Bugatti.  Thanks to dbifulco for hosting.

Had an appointment today at the Blaydon Primary Care Centre for ongoing treatment of my leg ulcer.  First of all I walked down to the village to get a bus.  Its only once an hour and the timing didn't fit with my appointment so I got to the Centre around 40 mins early.

I managed to find the " Complex Wounds Clinic "... it was just a small room with two nurses inside.  As it was my first appointment there  I had to answer loads of questions.  Blood pressure was taken ... it was high as usual.  Bit lower the second time. They looked at the leg ulcer and didn't seem concerned .... even though I'm in a lot of pain with it.  They put a new dressing on and sent me on my way.  I have 3 more Tuesday appointments already booked in with them.  Can't see why I need to go to Blaydon if all they are going to do is check the ulcer and change the dressing as this was what I was getting done at my local health centre which was much more convenient.

Next I got a bus to Lidl.  Didn't get much shopping but it was nice to have a wander round.  Then I got a bus to the Metrocentre and straight on to another bus to get home.

My leg was really painful and I couldn't be bothered to do anything so I went to bed for a couple of hours.  Its still bad this evening.  Might have to ask my GP for some painkillers as paracetamol is no use.
