The Feast Day of Saint Lutgardis. Born 1182 Belgium. Died 16th June 1246. Aywieres, Belgium.
Patron saint of blindness, childbirth, the disabled, Flanders.
She was a Benedictine nun. She saw a vision of Christ and He showed her His wounds.
She experienced states of religious ecstasy, levitation and stigmata.

Today has been very pleasant, sunny, 24c and a gentle breeze. Proper June weather!
I did the housework and washing. The sheet and duvet cover dried on the clothes line rapidly, due to the breeze and warmth.

Then I had a lovely blip walk to Turrets Garden and photographed the yellow roses.

I walked on to Cut Wood and photographed the playful squirrels. The woodland was peaceful and cool.

The heat is tiring and airless, so we have windows and doors open. Holly is chilling out on the front lawn. Paul mowed both front and back lawn this morning and strimmed the edge.

Prayers for the Deacon Blue singer who is in hospital. I love their music.

We are watching Escape to the Country in Northumberland. The properties are picturesque and well priced.

I enjoyed a Magnum.

Have a fabulous day blip friends and thank you for visiting my site.
