A sunny morning
in the park is not to be
missed for any cause

I was driving into McArthur Island Park just before 6. We have another sunny day coming on. 

I walked across the foot bridge to get a shot of my mountains to the east. I stood on the bridge to watch the activity in the slough. No sign of goslings or ducklings anywhere. The ducks and geese that paraded by were childless. 

On the south side I caught several marmots out and about. They stay near the river bank where their burrows are. One hasty move and they dart for cover. 

It looks like a day of paperwork for me. 

*The G7 is underway. I registered my protest against the orange baboon setting foot on our soil to my MP and our new Prime Minister.
