Siesta

A lazy-ish day today after yesterday's long drive from Calais. The two Daves headed off to the British Welcome at Saint Saturnin but the rest of us went to the nearby forest lake and went on a 6,000 steps walk round the lake. It has a lovely beach with campsites, a couple of cafés and boats and pedalos for hire. The extra photo was taken on the walk but even if we wanted to hire a pedalo the hut was closed. We met up with the two Daves for lunch in Sille-le-Guillaume. We all snoozed in the afternoon and the main photo shows Ron enjoying an al fresco siesta. Later we went for dinner at our favourite restaurant, La Petite Auberge, on the main road from Beaumont-sur- Sarthe to Le Mans. Our two Dutch friends, Erik and his father, Walter, joined us and a good time, with great food, was had by all.
