Super-U

Not the most evocative image of France  but the Super-U supermarket in the town near to where we are staying is always a welcome sight after a long day behind the wheel. I am in France again with a group of friends for the Le Mans 24 Hour race weekend. This is the 3rd year we have stayed in a gite in the grounds of Chateau Lucazaire in Mont Saint Jean.  It's a tiny village but it wasnt far to go to the Super-U which, as ever, was well stocked with everything we needed (and more) for a supper of bread, cheese, cold meats and salad helped down with a couple of beers. I shall sleep well tonight!
