Buff-Tailed Bumblebee on Veronica albicans

An early start for the charity collection of my old pine dining table and chairs. A bit sad to see it disappear out of the door, it has served me well for decades but it was time for a change. Now at last I have room in the lounge to get on with emptying out the rest of the boxes (although I have the new dining set in there, it’s stacked up in its protective wrapping for the moment taking up less space).

After lunch I logged onto Teams for a video meeting with the financial advisor. I could see and hear her, and she could see me, but I think there’s a fault with the mic on my laptop because she could hardly hear me. In the end, we spoke on the landline phone while I picked up the necessary documents via email. Because we wasted 20 minutes trying to get the mic problem sorted, we’ve now got another appointment to actually discuss my investments. I said not to bother sending me a Teams link for that, just email any paperwork and phone me on the landline again. Technology! Huh!!

I’ve felt really below par all day, worse than yesterday actually. A kind of sickly headache, furry mouth, bloated tummy and terribly tired. If I still feel like this tomorrow I’m going to have to cancel my appointment up in London. Because of being unwell, I just popped out to my driveway this afternoon and took some shots of a bumblebee foraging on the white Hebe which grows there.
