Wet
I started work thinning the apples in the orchard this morning, but then the rain became too heavy. An afternoon stuck indoors so some progress, with intermittent power cuts, was made in turning the storeroom above the garage into a printing workshop. When the rain finally stopped I went out to photograph some of the abutilons. The rain tends to enhance the colours. This is Abutilon pictum thompsonii, one of the few variegated abutilons, grown more for the foliage than the flowers.
