Lonicera japonica

Although neither my sister nor I are yet feeling 100%, we did manage to see each other for the first time in several weeks. She drove over to mine and we had lunch at The Exchange. It’s only about half a mile from home to there, but it was quite an effort for us to walk there considering how fit we both are normally. I got completely out of breath, as my lung capacity seems to have reduced quite markedly. We both still have a cough too. It was good to see each other nevertheless.

The honeysuckle in my blip grows wild in the garden, and together with the two types of jasmine that I gave to Dad one Father’s Day many years ago, the fragrance in the evening is gorgeous at the moment.

Once again, I fell asleep on the sofa for much of the evening.
