Dog Rose

A normal day, thank goodness. I spotted these pretty dog roses on the footpath through to my friend Christine’s house, on my way there for our fortnightly House Group. All five of us who were there have had a rotten week. Christine spent a lot of her holiday in Wales on the phone trying to organise remotely some urgent medical attention for her brother. Linda has had covid and I suspect Alison may have had it too, but whatever it was she was certainly very unwell. And dear Trudie (aged 92) has had a health scare with her heart medication and spent some time in hospital being checked over. And of course there’s been my stressful conveyancing saga of the past few days. The first thing we did was to pray that all of us would have a better week this week!

It rained on my walk home. When are we going to start having a summer?
