Snails pace

Saw this little fella on my way back from town today - must have looked a bit mad crouching down taking a picture of the pavement but I think it was worth it.

Did the parkrun again this morning and dragged some more friends along as well (who all beat me). Met up with an old friend there who I haven't seen in a couple of years - he's mates with my ex so had to back off for a while. Was great to catch up and he kindly ran with me despite me being a bit slower than him - well at 5k that is I actually have a quicker marathon time much to his dismay! Think I took a few seconds off last week's time but results aren't published yet so not sure. The fella certainly did better and knocked a minute or so off. It was one of the runners birthday so he'd bought along a lovely choc cake - it would have been rude of me not to have a small slice at the end!

Other than that a fairly chilled out day - the war on ants continues, got my eyebrows done and fell asleep listening to the footy. Not sure how this season's gonna pan out but an away draw to start will do.
