Yuck
Not felt well today - think I had a dodgy mussel during last night's dinner. So spent most of the morning chilling on the sofa. The fella was off training for his upcoming mountain shenanigans but I was grateful for the time alone. When he arrived back we popped into town to choose a mattress for our new bed. Found a very knowledgable man in John Lewis who didn't just go straight to the most expensive ones. We spent a fun time lying on the beds deciding which one to go for (and who knew there were mattresses with different sides for summer and winter - didn't go for them as not convinced of the benefit). Decided on one and then bought new pillows and a duvet. Looking forward to using them when my room is decorated and the bed has arrived.
Despite not feeling great decided to go for a run with my friend. Managed just over 4 miles with only a short walk while I tried (& succeeded) to not be sick. After i headed home my friend carried on and had a bad experience with a man who'd passed earlier on a bike - he blocked the path and wouldn't let her go by. She eventually managed to pass and get onto a road but was quite shaken. Feel guilty that I left her but these are paths we both run on our own quite a bit and are normally quite busy - I did think there was something odd about the way the man looked at us when he passed though. Lesson to listen to instincts more and keep alert.
