Vintage Pixie Drinking Glass

Before I went to bed last night I took a couple of codeine and I still woke up a few times in the night due to the painful leg ulcer. I finally got up around 3pm.  Had a " very healthy " late breakfast of three cup cakes.  

A couple of parcels had been delivered to my garage so I spent a while unpacking the items and putting them away.  Mainly groceries, cat food and cat litter.

Its been a rainy day so I only left the house to put some bird food out and to wheel my household waste  bin into the street ready for emptying tomorrow. 

Mike ran the Blaydon Race this evening. The race started at 7. 30pm at the Quayside in Newcastle and finished in Blaydon. Its a 5.9 mile course.  I might have gone to the finish if it had been better weather. Becky and Astrid didn't go either as it would have been too late for Astrid to be up and about. 

The Mono Monday theme is ' Glass, Glass ware or Glasses' . Ive blipped a small vintage drinking glass (its 3½ inches high)  The motif is a pixie sitting on a mushroom. The glass belonged to my late father in law. Thanks to Carolina for hosting
