Rayburn Eggs
A beautiful sunny morning, with a few heavy showers passing over. The rest of the day and evening has been glorious.
Up fairly early, breakfast then washing out on the line. Headed to Lerwick for shopping, and a walk with Sammy. Met mam, big Brian, Madeline and Julie at the Trondra Sunday Teas, a delicious spread of home-bakes as usual. Walkies with the dogs after. Another shift in the shop this evening. Thankfully slightly quieter, still busy though. A cuppa and feet up before bed.
After the Teas, a run out with the fine day. While it's very common to see eggs for sale across Shetland, this unusual storage one certainly is different. I do miss the old Rayburn in the house, a great way to heat the home, and now a handy way to hold eggs. I tried to snap it with the ducks behind, but that telegraph pole was in the way. Taken at Clett, Hamnavoe, Burra.
