Hawthorn Garden 2024

Rained most of the morning, drier but still showers in the afternoon, even some sunny spells, then a night of rain.  Please come back summer! 

Slept longer than planned, yucky morning, so didn't miss anything.  When the rain finally eased, I headed out walkies with Sammy, we took shelter at Madeline's, and of course, a cuppa.  Nipped down to Laura's after lunch, Kitty is doing well.  Headed to Lerwick, the RNLI open day was a washout, then headed to the supermarket.  Met friend Julie for walkies before tea.  Popped down to mam's this evening, now feet up.  

I nipped out into the garden during a dry spell, thankfully no need to water the garden currently.  I have loads to do, weeding, turning over soils, and finish planting my bedding plants, but it's just not been the weather lately.  Things are growing well, but a little behind with the chilly winds.  Looking over the garden, Hawthorn Cottage, Houl Road, Scalloway.
