Capri - Not the 70's Motor Car

I am pretty sure not everyone will appreciate the title, but if you don't know what I am talking about, google Ford Capri, and you will gain some appreciation for the rather retro sporty vehicle that always seemed out of reach for the family with 3 kids.  How is it that only this week I came to realise the "Caprese Salad," was actually a salad named after the island of Capri.

Anyway, tis getting late, and I just realised that D and I had the same idea despite numerous photographs of posting almost identical views - probably because this is the most specactular view of this remarkable island.  Yes it is a tourist nightmare, but imagining this unique event that creating a community on a rock in the middle of the ocean overlooking a volcano south of Naples, and it is something else.

Anyway, extras tell another story, first of all, we discovered that Mike had established a rather secret business venture on this island and it seems like it was difficult to hide once we turned a corner and discovered his heretoforth hidden emporium.

Second extra depicts several perfume pots outside another of the local stores where both D and L dipped their hands, thinking they were perfume samples, and began exchanging comparative smelling exercises until a rather stern lady emerged from the door and asked them to stop interfering with the diffusers!!  A good day, good evening meal mainly consisting of pizzas - funny how pizzas are so popular over here!  And now to bed!
