Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

JR had a very sore arm last night (from the Covid jab), so, in the middle of the night she cancelled today's gym sessions. She had a bit of a rare lie in, with toast and coffee brought to her.

Then Archie and I walked up to get another stash of my pills (thank you NHS).

Had to pay the Norwegian cruise holiday today. I had all their details, but I had to then take a photo of my passport, then do a selfie, and keep telling them I wasn't being 'forced' into it. Good to be cautious, of course. But it was impossible to complete. So JR walked down town, with Archie, to the bank and got them to do it. Job done.

Later, I took a hike round the graveyard while JR visited a neighbour to get some sewing done on her flash machine. The graveyard is sheltered and sunny - it was so warm! But once out on the streets, it was freezing.

Hazel popped over to give an update on her holiday preparations. She's the most organised person I know! She's off tomorrow for a two week cruise.
