Family Friends

Because our phones were off for the Get Organised concert, we didn't pick up, until on the bus home, a message that we could meet our USA friends this evening.

These are B, J and A, E & E, the son, D-i-l and grandchildren of our friends C & R in Kalamazoo, and who are now friends of B, S & the Flumlet, being of similar ages.

With constant communication by WhatsApp, Mr Flum  and I parked in the Grassmarket, walked up to the Tron on the High Street to meet them all then sought a place to eat that could accommodate all ten of us and easily manage a variety of dietary requirements. Pizza Express proved an excellent choice.

It was super to see these delightful adults grown from the young kids we've watched from across the Atlantic, with their own children of similar age as on our first meeting.

All too soon it was time for them to return to their hotel and get some sleep after their long flight.

It was so nice to see you guys, thanks for the maple syrup and biscuits.
