An ordinary life....

Guard dog...

First day of meteorological summer is here and it's been sunny, showery and cool.
D was playing in a golf medal with K at Leven today so he was up and off fairly early.

Linda came to cut my hair so had a good chinwag with her.  It's amazing how the world can be put to rights in half an hour!  :-)

After lunch I spent a chunk of the afternoon in the studio working in a wee joint project with Blip Pal P that she discussed with me with she was here last month.  More on that another time ;-))

D returned from golf a tad wind swept and grumpy that he'd just missed out on winning the medal.  I reminded him that not so long ago he would have been over the moon with that result.

We had some of the lamb (that I over ordered a few weeks ago) for dinner with rosemary garlic roast potatoes and honey glazed carrots.  Strawberries and mango with Greek yogurt for dessert.  Yum.

Blip of Lola lying at the front door this afternoon patiently awaiting the return of her master :-))

Got great news this evening from Skye.  Anna and Faith have done really well in the Royal National Mod (Scotland’s premier Gaelic festival that provides opportunities for people of all ages to perform across a range of competitive disciplines including Gaelic music and song, highland dancing, instrumental, drama, sport and literature.)  Anna got 1st for solo singing, 2nd for folk, and 2nd for fiddle.  Faith got 1st for her singing group, and 3rd for solo singing. Looking forward to seeing them next month and hearing them sing.  They really do have voices of angels.
