An ordinary life....

Brigadoon...

What a beautiful day.

Loads I should have been doing but too nice a day to spend on chores.

After lunch D and I went out for a short drive to see the Highland Cows at Cloan Estate.  Sensible girls, they were all lying under the trees sheltered from the sun and not easy to photograph.  We carried on driving up the road past Cloan House.  So lovely driving through the trees with dappled sunlight shining through.  I would show you but I am having a problem getting my photos from my camera to my laptop (won't bore you with the details) so you'll just have to imagine :-))

On the way back down the road our little town was looking lovely nestled in the Strathearn Valley with the hills behind.  Thankfully as well as using the big camera, I also took shots on my phone, so can at least share this one :)

Back home and it was gone 5pm so G&T time.  I thinks that's only my third gin this year (don't like to have alcohol when I'm on antibiotics) and despite being back on antibiotics (yes GP confirmed yesterday my UTI hasn't cleared with the last course of co-amoxiclav so now back on Nitrofurantoin) and despite it being very weak, full of ice and 90% tonic, I really enjoyed sipping it as we sat in the garden listening to the birds and enjoying the sunshine.

D got ready to take Lola a woodland walk near our house when I came up with the idea of going along to Provest Walk instead and I could join them.  Wondered if Alan would join us.  I didn't think he'd want to come as he'd been out all day at Dunning Market before heading to the Classic Car Exhibition in Perth, but when I suggested we all go for a walk and we could have wheelchair races, it was a yes from him! :-))

What a lovely time we had.  Lola was so excited to be out with us all and showed this by stopping and sniffing EVERYTHING!  :-)) The scent from the hedgerows was intoxicating although I expect she was reading her P-mails :D

Alan and I had a few races along the way, which was hilarious, but the best bit for him by far was stopping at the park and having a go on the roundabout.  He is a speed demon so wanted to spin faster and faster till he could hardly catch his breath.  Fab!  He won the race home and was very happy about that :-)

Dinner was later than planned but the delay was worth it.

Some pics from our walk in extras.

And just like that it's 1st June!
