Happy face...
Despite sleeping well last night I was still really tired when the alarm went off at 7.30am so decided to go back to sleep. When I next woke up it was just after 9.30am and I felt much better for it.
D made lunch (roast beef, mayo and chilli jam sandwiches) before heading to play golf with local golf buddy Fraser. Friend Alan was supposed to be playing too but he called off with Man Flu. Oh dear.
I spent the afternoon in the study continuing work on the project with P as well as doing some planning sketches for the slate tile I want to paint with the name of our Skye friends' new house on it.
Dinner was coconut, lime and mango chicken and I cobbled together a sticky coconut and lime rice to accompany it. It was rather tasty for a made up recipe!
Really struggling with growing my fringe out. I've almost chopped it back into shape about 5 times today. I think I need to accept I am at the awkward stage where a clasp may be necessary for a few weeks. Channel my inner five year old. Nice! LOL!
Spent time with Alan this evening. I asked him if he liked my haircut. This was his response. Given that he smiles for yes, I'm taking this as a win, but know him well enough to recognise that this smile is almost crossing the line into laughing at my hair! Charmer :-)
Pic in extra is for Nanzy19 :-))
