Pink and white
I suddenly realised that with all the other excitements I'd posted no wildflower shots this week, so I went out this morning on the search, but very locally. This is what I came up with, two geranium/cranesbills and two campions, one pink and one white of each.
So, clockwise from top left:
Herb Robert, Geranium rebertianum (yes I've already blipped the usual pink one this spring but relatively often it can produce white flowers alongside or instead of the pinks. That's what you see here.)
Ragged Robin, Lychnis flos-cuculi
Bloody Cranesbill, Geranium sanguineum
Bladder Campion, Silene vulgaris
It's been another hot day - quite sticky in fact, so I've done a fair amount but slowly. One of my rather elderly neighbours chose today to demolish his garden fence and rebuilt it. NOT the day I'd have chosen for so much physical effort.
Have a great evening xx
