More Camargue glimpses

These two images are from last Sunday morning's procession. This time it was the turn of the statues of the two Maries, Marie Salomé and Marie Jacobé, to be carried down to the beach and back again, in the midst of a jostling crowd of worshippers and spectators.  As with yesterday's procession, Camargue gardians on horseback accompanied the procession. 
I soon realised that I was not in a good position to get clear shots of the whole procession. However, it was possible to capture some impressions; the two statues themselves, with a child reaching out to them from his parent's shoulders; the crowd walking back from the sea, with the statues in the background and a woman in traditional Arlesienne  costume in the foreground.
