A gift

Definitely a hasty EB this evening. Richard bought me this lovely book - published in 1978 - in a secondhand bookshop last Monday.
Eben was with us today. Both he and Richard had seen info about the film IF (for imaginary friend). So we went to that late this morning. I really liked it, sentimental as it is. Eben liked it too, and also had great fun with the reclining seat in the Odeon. R was less impressed with the film.
E and I also fitted in a long game of Monopoly, in which he conceded defeat gracefully. Fortunately he wins often enough to balance things up. And we made it to his weekly swimming lesson.
After that I got home in time for my online Greek lesson, more or less clear-headed enough to participate.
A good, busy day.
