The cast has finally come off!
...even if it did take pretty much all day. 

This is the picture Louisa sent me while I was at work after they were subject to a 2 hour delay. Then he had to have it x-rayed and assessed before they were allowed to come home (via McDonald's of course). Apparently it's healing well and the doctors are happy.
