Tripping the light fantastic

Bank Holiday Monday and an Owen and Daddy day. We headed out into town this afternoon to take a look at The Hive Street Festival. There were circus games, live music, art stalls, a play in the courtyard of The Hive itself and a light installation in their drama studio complete with umbrellas to show up the various light displays.

Owen wasn't too sure when we first got there and didn't want to do any 'activities' but after a bit of time in the light show here he was a bit more interested. We went to play a bit of giant jenga and then had a go at some of the circus tricks before wandering round the grave stones of old St Chad's and watching a bit of drumming.
I think he was a bit overwhelmed initially with the number of people there and pleased with himself in the end for having a go.
We've even been once before
