Bateau du Lac

We had got a bus trip to Geneva earmarked for today, but we canned the idea as being far too much effort, especially after MrsLisle’s Lonely Planet guide failed to convince me there was anything particularly interesting to do there (TripAdvisor highlights: a lake, bigger but otherwise much like the one we’re camped next too, a wristwatch museum and a very large jet of water!) Sorry Geneva. We took a boat trip round the lake instead and then went for another relaxed meal at the campsite restaurant (more good burgers, though the girls teamed up to tackle the ‘Discover the Alps’ menu, featuring, amongst other things, an unfeasible amount of grilled cheese which they toasted themselves in a strange little portable charcoal grill that was brought out and set up by the table.)
