Coffee Morning plus guest

Coffee morning down at the scout hut was full to bursting this morning.

The residents association committee (of which I am one) had invited our local labour MP Anna Turley to come along to meet people, hear their concerns etc etc.

She sat at each table for a while, wrote plenty of notes and seemed generally well received. As I mentioned a while back, as we’ve only been here 18 months, and she was elected just less than a year ago, it’s difficult to see what progress/benefit/changes are being made from the previous chap who was a conservative. Ask me in a couple of years if there’s been a difference.
