Debbie rings the bell

Our walk today was from Catton, in and around the beautiful East Allen valley. The forecast rain never appeared. The views were lovely and the route was excellent. Well done to Cliff who led the way.

Here is Debbie who has never previously encountered the golf bell/gong. You sound it before crossing the field and sound another one as you leave the field. This is to protect walkers from stray golf balls!

It is still sunny this evening.

BJ was visiting from the USA. she loves being with us and said what a supportive group we are. It’s lovely to hear that. She is off to Italy next week but back with us in July.
