Prince Albert

Prince Albert sits on his horse oblivious to his gull hat and pleased that so many people are pursuing knowledge and the pleasure of books. Among the bronze figures below are two indicating his great interest in science and learning and the plaque illustrates his wedding in 1840 to Queen Victoria.
