Cuckoo on North Uist

Not one of my best shots, but this is a cuckoo. It was 'cuckooing' and flying over my head just as I came out of the Coop store. I had to drop my shopping. (A carton of oat milk can hurt if you drop it on the top of your foot.) 

I love hearing cuckoos when I come to Scotland. It's a bird we rarely see or hear in Lancashire these days.
