Not Quite Dawn ..

... but fairly early. Overnighting under a rookery meant a raucous dawn chorus. And it rained a bit in the night! The first we've had in two weeks here. We were near an old burial ground and the ruins of a church, very peaceful.

We drove northwards, stopping so TM could have an Irish breakfast (much the same as a Scottish one, but with white pudding as well as black.)  Near Drogheda we had an other break and walked in the lovely grounds of the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre.

Now we are on the shore of Lough Neagh, poised to zoom down to Belfast for the ferry tomorrow morning.
