Goodbye, Lough Neagh

The long trek home began at 7.30 this morning. All went smoothly, and we spent a couple of hours in Kirkudbright in the afternoon. It's one of my favourite places.

Later we stopped again to stretch our legs in Langholm and the bridge was looking pretty in the low sun. We're home now, and flopped, emptying the van and collecting the cats will happen tomorrow morning. 

Last night, after I'd posted, there was a wonderful blazing sunset over Lough Neagh. But by the time I'd run down the road to where there was a gap in the hedge, it had nearly gone. So the dying rays are the extra.
