An Eagle's Sunday Lunch

Another poor bird provided lunch for this eagle. I've done my absolute best with the predator but I cannot bring any further detail into the image. I had to be very quick and the camera was focused on the sky. I hope you'll agree from the silhouette that it is an eagle. Two extras - a baby (or female)  stonechat and an anxiously protective adult lapwing. I'm loving all the birds.

Two long walks, one at Lochmaddy where I spotted the eagle and the other nearer the holiday house. In between a really good lunch of langoustines and salad followed by lemon posset. Both made to perfection and very good value.

I realise my blips haven't included the amazing landscape and beaches but there's opportunity for that from tomorrow's destination.

I'm not managing much blip time for which apologies.
