Grindiscol Calf

A cold wind again, but a lovely sunny morning.  A few showers passed over, back to cold sunshine again.

Another early start at 5am.  Working with James again, this time on the south beat.  Lerwick was quite messy today.  A lazy morning back home after work.  Me, peerie Brian and friend Julie headed to Bressay for the Sunday Teas in the afternoon, followed by walkies.  Another evening working in the shop.  Feet up before bed.

Julie had to pick up some eggs from her pal, Elizabeth Gifford.  Elizabeth took us on a tour around the farm, showing us her newborn calves, lambs, including the sweetest caddy, also the hens.  All the animals were friendly, loved a good scratch around the ears.  This little calf was born over the weekend, such a cute calf too and beautiful colours.  Him and mam were both too tired to chat, hopefully he'll remember me if I come across him again.  Taken at the Grindiskol croft, Bressay.
