Sammy at da Clapphoull Bluebells

A cold windy morning, with showers.  Sunny spells the rest of the day, and still that odd shower.

Up at 5am, early street beat cleaning. I've been working with James, I was on the north beat, Lerwick fairly clean considering the Folk Festival is on.  We had manual handling training after work.  Popped down to Laura's in the afternoon, mam, Jonny and cousin Dawna along too.  Another shift in the shop this evening, hopefully not as busy as last night.

A quick walk with Sammy, while down at Laura's.  I say a quick walk, but poor Sammy really has slowed down, very much snail pace now.  Sammy's eyesight and hearing have almost gone, but he's still happy and still keen to get out and explore.  He'll be turning seventeen soon, he really is doing well for his age.  The adventures and exploring may be shorter these day, just glad he's still here to spend time with him.  Sammy at the old croft bluebells, Clapphoull, Cunningsburgh.
