Glade

Before C and K set off back to Dundee this morning, we went on a morning potter around Aldie Burn - one of our favourite walks. It was quite chilly, for the most part, but sheltered from the sneaky wind in the trees, so quite pleasant. There was a bit of sunshine from time to time, to show case all the new growth in the forest (see extras), and also a little rain, but nothing to stop the fun.

After a visit to the supermarket, we've been back at home. Mr A has watered all the plants (still essential - there have only been about 10 cms of rain since the turn of the year, apparently). I did some washing and have got it dry on the line, notwithstanding the challenges of the chilly weather. We've put plant supports (well, string and bamboo) around two overexcited poppies. I've run around with the vacuum cleaner. And now we are about to get our dinner. Early dinner, and early night, as we have an early start in the morning.
