Same view, different day (Day 3636)
Off to town this morning to look at a job which I thought I might be able to just get on with. When I arrived to look at the simple toilet and basin swap I realised it was going to take a fair bit of planning. The wet room the stuff is in is very dated, the units that the loo and basin are in are not standard sizes, the walls are tiled down onto the units and the flooring is cut around them.
I spent ages with the customer discussing various ideas and possibilities, but suggested the best plan would be to get along to the bathroom showroom and see what the options are. I measured up and headed along to see Andy to discuss the possibilities. After batting around various ideas for ages it looks like the simplest way forward would be a full strip out and re-fit. It depends on the customer's budget.
With that out of the way, I headed home and got a few things done before taking Sigyn for a wander. Nice to be out in a T-shirt again.
Later in the afternoon, while my beautiful wife sorted stuff out for her trip south, I set about making another hay crate for the horses.
