BOSTON

Another busy day. First of all Becky and Mike went for an early 2 mile run.  I stayed in the apartment with Astrid.  When Becky and Mike came back we all went out for breakfast at the Tatte Cafe /bakery.  I had a cappuccino and an almond scone.  Back to the apartment where Becky stayed for the rest of the day just relaxing and chilling out ahead of her big day tomorrow. 

Mike, Astrid and me got the subway to South Street and walked down to the harbour.  We saw the Boston Tea Party ship.  The tourists on board were having fun throwing boxes of "tea" into the harbour.

We had a lovely wander around the area.  Mike had a nice glass of beer from a kiosk opposite the Boston Harbour Hotel. The hotel had a huge American flag hanging in the archway.  We walked along a pedestrian pathway where I spotted an American Robin... There were lots of trees full of blossom... See extra

Then we walked to Quincy Market.  Astrid had an ice cream and had her face painted.  She chose a unicorn. Then we went back to the subway station to get back to the apartment. 

Later on we ordered takeaway... Becky and Mike had pizzas and I had KFC and chips. 

The weather today was sunny and warmish with quite a strong wind.  Hopefully it's not too warm tomorrow and not so windy for the marathon runners
