Hidden hide
A walk to the deli in Cley to buy cake this morning. Then MrM drove us to a village near King's Lynn to meet one of his old school friends he hadn't seen for over 40 years! We spent a very pleasant couple of hours chatting to him and his wife, sitting in sun in their garden, drinking coffee and eating cake.
We passed through Fakenham on our way north, and stopped for a while to look round the town and walk by the river. Then we set off for Titchwell Marsh, an RSPB nature reserve, where we spent the afternoon. After a snack in the café we took a path down to a lovely sandy beach, watching lots of seabirds along the way. And - for the second time this month - we heard a bittern boom! Couldn't spot the bittern though.
Quite difficult to spot the bird hide in the Blip...
Back to the Harnser for our evening meal - I opted for coq au vin, which was absolutely delicious. As was the house red.
