Blakeney sunset

A full day!

A short walk around the marshes at Cley before we set off for Sheringham Park, a National Trust property on the outskirts of Sheringham. There we met my sister and b-i-l, and their two dogs, and my nephew and his husband too, for a walk. The grounds of the park are extensive and afford some good views (1st extra - across to the sea), and the path we followed goes past Weybourn Station on the North Norfolk Railway (2nd extra). After a very pleasant walk, chatting all the way, we had a snack at the café before, sadly, it was time to say goodbye.

MrM and I drove into Sheringham and walked by the sea, passing turnstones on the sea wall as we walked (3rd extra - they weren't at all bothered by people). After spending quite a while wave watching (extra), we went into the town for a fish & chip tea - it would have been silly not to while we were by the sea!

To finish off the day we drove to Blakeney, where we strolled by the harbour (extra) and watched the sun going down
