Not a fancy photo effect...

...just flowers in the garden shot through a rain-soaked window.
Rain was the main event today.  After no rain at all in April up until a day or two ago, it was great to have a prolonged and steady fall of rain this morning.  It has really soaked everything and one can almost hear the garden breath a sigh of relief.  I've added a photo of the cowslips taken in the same way.

B and I walked to Letheringsett this afternoon and called in at the water mill.  It's great to know that they are milling their own flour again and have a new tearoom enterprise being run by another lady starting at the beginning of May.  Although we have been buying our bread flour from another local mill while they had repairs done, it'll be great to go back to using their flour knowing that it will have only travelled a couple of miles.
