Rain

It rained during the night and poured throughout  the morning.  The hound refused to venture out even with a coat into the garden.  Mr braved the supermarket for milk and no doubt chocolate bars.

It was a good opportunity to cook some vegetables and meat for the dog.

Enjoyed curling up with my book.  

Rain stopped by lunchtime.  We walked along the seafront mid afternoon.  Skies were still overcast but people were out and about.  All day the military planes have been piercing the skies with their distinctive roar, today completely invisible above the cloud cover. 

Easy baked potatoes for dinner.  We've been a bit short on exercise to work up a big appetite.
