Sheringham Shoal

Beautiful blue skies after last night's rain.  Took the hound for a walk along the promenade.  It was too good to miss.

The Sheringham Shoal, the name of the wind farm - turbines were catching the light.  It's an extensive wind farm.

Had a trip to Holt.  I bought croissants, two hot cross buns and a spelt loaf from the Two Magpies bakery.  I'll explore Holt more when we finally move.

Back home had lunch.  Mr had his croissant for lunch.  I fancy mine with coffee for breakfast.  After lunch I walked the 5 minutes to the shops for supplies.

Read in the afternoon.

Opened the back door to find a grey mouse on the doorstep.  Shut the door quickly.  Mr thinks the apple scraps encouraged it.  Maybe so but it looked well fed and that won't just be my apple scraps.  Wiped window and door frames with lavender essential oil and put a few drops on paving slabs outside doors.  Haven't seen it again.  Hopefully it's not gained entry.  Mr hasn't excused his secreted stash of chocolate bars.

A walk along the seafront before preparing dinner.  Dinner tonight was mushroom and emmental cheese with Norfolk asparagus and steamed potatoes rolled in seasoning, parsley and a drop of olive oil.

Now to chill.  Tomorrow's weather doesn't look great but the next day does.

Pleasant evening everyone.
